Meet Jillian

Jillian Lavallee

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, specializing in anxiety, trauma, ADHD, stress, depression, relationship issues and emotional overwhelm.


I bring both professional training and lived understanding to my work. Many of the people I support have spent years trying to manage their anxiety or reactions on their own — often feeling frustrated, ashamed, or confused about why things haven’t changed.


In sessions, clients often describe me as calm, grounding, and emotionally attuned. I prioritize safety, working together, and going at your pace, especially for those who feel easily overwhelmed or reactive.


Therapy with me is not about pushing through or fixing yourself — it’s about learning to how to feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions.

How I Help

I work from a trauma-informed approach to help with emotional regulation and anxiety.

Together, we focus on:


  • Moving your nervous system from survival mode to steadiness
     
  • Developing practical coping skills
     
  • Learning how to regulate emotions in real time
     
  • Learning your triggers and what to do about them
     

Many of my clients move from being reactive to feeling more calm, clarity, and a greater sense of control in their day-to-day lives.

Online Therapy

I offer online therapy for individuals and couples in Ontario and across Canada.


(A small number of in-person sessions are available at my Burlington office for those who prefer face-to-face support)


Individual Session Fee:
$160 per 50-minute session


Couples Session Fee:
$240 per 50-minute session
