Some things can’t be solved by thinking alone.

Your mind won’t slow down. You replay conversations, worry about what might happen and feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

Maybe you look capable on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally drained or unable to get started.

Connect with a therapist from the privacy and comfort of your own space.

Jillian works with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, overthinking, insomnia, chronic overwhelm, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, stress, burnout and trauma.

I’m exhausted, but I can’t sleep

  • My mind starts racing the moment I get into bed.
  • I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep.
  • I check the clock and calculate how many hours I have left.
  • I worry about how I’ll function tomorrow if I don’t sleep.
  • The harder I try to fall asleep, the more awake I feel.
  • I’m starting to dread bedtime because I already expect another bad night

My mind won’t shut off.

You overthink decisions, replay conversations and struggle to relax; even when nothing is obviously wrong.

Anxiety Therapy

Everything feels like too much.

Small tasks feel enormous. You are easily irritated, emotionally flooded or completely shut down.

Stress & Emotional Regulation Therapy

I can’t make myself get started.

You know what needs to be done, but focusing, organizing and following through feel nearly impossible.

ADHD & Neurodivergent Therapy

I’m tired of holding everything together.

Other people rely on you, but you are running out of energy. You may secretly hope plans get cancelled just so no one needs anything from you.

Individual Therapy

I don’t feel like myself anymore.

You feel disconnected, unmotivated or emotionally flat. Things you once enjoyed no longer feel the same.

Depression Therapy

The past still feels present.

You may know that an experience is over, but your body still reacts as though it is happening now.

Trauma & PTSD Therapy

There comes a point where pretending you’re okay becomes more exhausting than admitting you’re not.

Maybe you’ve spent months—or years—telling yourself you’ll figure it out on your own. Maybe you’ve become so used to carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt or emotional exhaustion that it simply feels like who you are.

At Trusted Care Counselling, we believe therapy should be more than a place to talk.

It should be a place where you finally feel understood.

Where you don’t have to explain why your mind won’t stop racing.

Where you don’t have to apologize for crying.

Where you don’t have to convince someone that what you’re feeling is real.

Whatever you’re working through, change is possible.

Why attend therapy?

People often come to therapy believing something is wrong with them.

They’re frustrated because they overthink everything.

They wonder why they can’t relax.

They blame themselves for shutting down, procrastinating, people-pleasing or reacting more intensely than they’d like.

We see these experiences differently.

Instead of asking,

“What’s wrong with you?”

we ask,

“What happened?”

or

“What has your mind been trying to protect you from?”

When you understand why your brain and nervous system respond the way they do, self-blame begins to make room for understanding and self-compassion.

What You Can Expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating.

Many people worry they’ll say the wrong thing.

Or that they won’t know where to begin.

Or that they’ll become overwhelmed.

You don’t have to prepare.

You don’t need the perfect words.

You don’t even need to know exactly why you’re struggling.

Our role is to meet you where you are, ask thoughtful questions, and help you untangle what has felt impossible to understand on your own.

Therapy moves at your pace.

There is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

Our Approach

No two people experience anxiety, ADHD, trauma or depression in exactly the same way.

That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy.

Our therapists tailor each session to your unique experiences, strengths and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based approaches
  • Trauma and attachment informed care

More important than any specific approach is the relationship we build with you.

Research consistently shows that feeling understood and connected to your therapist is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy.

Why People Choose Trusted Care Counselling

People often tell us they appreciate that therapy here feels…

  • Warm rather than clinical.
  • Practical rather than overwhelming.
  • Collaborative rather than prescriptive.
  • Compassionate rather than judgmental.
  • Honest rather than scripted.

We won’t simply hand you a worksheet and send you on your way.

We’ll work together to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and build practical strategies that fit your life.

How therapy can help

Therapy gives you a place to slow things down, understand what is happening and make changes that are difficult to make alone.

At Trusted Care Counselling, therapy is compassionate, practical and tailored to you. We do not believe in simply telling you to think positively or giving you generic advice.

Together, we can help you:

  • quiet racing thoughts and constant overthinking
  • understand emotional triggers and recurring patterns
  • manage stress without shutting down or exploding
  • improve focus, organization and follow-through
  • process painful experiences safely
  • reduce shame and self-criticism
  • communicate more clearly in relationships
  • develop healthier boundaries
  • feel more confident and in control of your life

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

We don't just treat anxiety. We know what anxiety feels like.

The racing thoughts. The constant second-guessing. The need to prepare for every possible outcome. You replay conversations, expect the worst, feel on edge even when nothing is wrong, and wonder why relaxing feels impossible. Online therapy can help you understand the patterns beneath your anxiety, develop practical tools and feel more like yourself again.

How can we help?

You may not know exactly what kind of therapy you need; you just know you don't want to keep feeling this way.

Whether you’re experiencing overthinking, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, our therapists provide compassionate, evidence-based care that meets you where you are. Together, we’ll help you better understand what’s happening, develop practical strategies that fit your life, and move toward feeling calmer, more confident and more in control.
