Virtual practicum Opportunities May 2026

I’m pleased to offer a virtual practicum placement as an approved primary practicum site for Yorkville University MACP students. This placement is designed to support students who are committed to their learning, value professionalism, and are interested in growing within a private practice setting.

While the practicum is fully virtual, I’m looking for students who are able to show up consistently, engage thoughtfully, and invest meaningfully in their clinical development. This placement may be a particularly good fit for students who are open to the possibility of continuing with the practice following practicum, should there be a mutual fit.

Practicum Requirements

To help ensure a supportive and enriching experience, applicants are asked to meet the following criteria:

• Be a current Yorkville University practicum student
• Be seeking a primary practicum site (rather than a secondary      placement)
• Be able to commit approximately 20 hours per week to the practicum
• Be available to participate consistently during regular business hours
• Be comfortable completing a fully virtual placement
• Have an interest in private practice clinical work

Registration & Insurance

Students must also be willing and eligible to:

• Apply for registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of      Ontario (CRPO)
• Obtain and maintain $5 million professional liability insurance, as required for practice in Ontario
• Meet all practicum-related requirements set out by Yorkville University and      the CRPO
