Our Mission

Support for Indigenous Clients

We have a few therapists that work on the traditional and ancestral territories of Indigenous Peoples, and offer psychotherapy in a way that honors your lived experiences, identity, and culture.

We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples. We recognize the profound strength, wisdom, and resilience within Indigenous communities, and we  recognize that many Indigenous individuals, families, and communities have experienced — and continue to experience — the impacts of colonization, intergenerational trauma, and systemic barriers. These experiences may affect mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.

In our work together, we offer:

  • A compassionate, culturally sensitive space that respects your values, traditions, and ways of knowing

  • Support for navigating issues like grief, trauma, identity, depression, anxiety, burnout, addiction, and disconnection

  • An understanding of the importance of community, land, family, and culture in the healing process

  • A commitment to listening without judgment, honoring your story, and walking alongside you at your pace

  • Honoring your story, identity, and values without judgment

  • To be guided by your goals, pace, and personal or cultural beliefs

  • Recognizing the emotional impacts of residential schools, displacement, and loss

  • Trauma-sensitive practices, decolonizing perspectives, and a commitment to ongoing learning

  • Being open to incorporating or working alongside Indigenous healing practices, community supports, Elders, or Knowledge Keepers if you choose

We offer therapy that is grounded in respect, cultural humility, and allyship.

A Note on Cultural Respect

This space is for you — your healing, your strength, and your voice. I hold deep respect for the diversity of Indigenous Nations, cultures, languages, and ways of knowing. While we are not Indigenous, we are committed to anti-oppressive practice, reconciliation, and ongoing unlearning as a settler therapist. My goal is to walk alongside you in a way that centers safety, sovereignty, and dignity.
